Surely we can change..
Hey all, below is a video we did at church a couple of weeks ago. it's different street signs from around Salem and we actually did the song live for our gathering, but I added the song in for all you out there so that you could experience what we experienced. It was an eye opening time for many to realize that you don't have to go halfway across the world to serve, but there are opportunities in our own backyard. check it out, feel free to use the idea.

here comes Fall...
I love FALL......I can't believe it's just around the corner. some of my favorite things happen in fall, including, watching the seasons so vividly change, you can very well see and smell the beauty of God. Love cold or hot cider, with the cinnamon stick and all. love dressing for fall, and snuggling up to the one i love...or even driving with the windows down and some good music speaking nothing at all. I have to be honest and say i'm excited for it and this will be the first fall as a husband...being a husband is fun and it's everything i thought it would be, and then some. i love that I'm growing and that God is teaching me each day on how to be a better husband and friend to Jax. she does an awesome job on being a wife and she fills me with such joy, i can barely express in words. i am asking God to continue to make me the Man He desires me to be, and I know that this fall season, he will continue to create in me a clean heart.
ahh.....smell the air, see the leaves, get out the jackets, fall is here...

random thoughts spurred on by song...
I find myself in that place of quiet and holy rest. I miss my wife, I long for us to get there….wherever there is. There might be just around the corner, or it might be several thousand miles away, or it could just be right here. I suspect that there is here and now, as we are, as He is, and even as we hope to be. To quote Robbie Seay: “it might not be, the prettiest thing you’ll ever see, but it’s a new day, baby it’s a new day.” We’re thankful for what is, hopeful for what could be, and loving each other as we are. A few things we know, God is good, life’s been generous, and we’re fortunate. There are those with much, much less, and we have literally all: we want to offer our lives in service to this cause of giving, but it looks different for both of us….how can we do this together? We’ll make a way: He’ll make a way. She is beauty, love, and compassion wrapped beautifully as one. I am love, dreams, and a song, stumbling my way through life. Togthether, we are a life…a good life….a life full of faith, hope, and love, and we will give our life to the service of the one cause, the one kingdom, and the one great love.
seriously...
so, here I am again trying to start my blog again. Hopefully i can try to stick with it. I will likely be blogging about several things including thoughts about God and Faith, my wife, our life together in New England, and perhaps things I continue to learn about ministry and service to the Kingdom. So anyways, here goes another opportunity.
